Back in 2007, hackerspaces made the leap from Germany to America, setting off a chain reaction “maker movement” that defined the next decade for many people.

Before those people move on with their lives and forget the details, it seemed like a good idea to interview them.

Your Host

Will Bradley is nobody special, just one of many people who helped start a hackerspace or makerspace. This one was in 2009, in Mesa Arizona, and it was called HeatSync Labs. He continued helping run that space for about 4-5 years, took a break, and is currently helping out at Chimera Arts in California.

Among people who run a hackerspace, the only thing especially noteworthy about Will is that he’s got enough hubris and has met enough wonderful other hackerspace people to make a podcast out of it.
